In keeping with the old Boston and New England traditions, here is one of our tasty treats. Each 14 ounce box measures 9 inches by 6 inches by 2 1/2 inches and contains approximately 50 to 60 pieces of fresh local salt water taffy.
During hot summer months when temperatures exceed 80 F, we highly recommend purchasing an ice pack with your candy order and specifying a shipping method at check out that will deliver your order within two days.
From the initial quote for the bulk order, to clear communication and precise, on-time hand delivery at our annual convention in Boston, everything went absolutely perfectly with this order. Most importantly, our event guests loved the taffy! Thank you for such outstanding service!
Whenever I'm planning an event with out-of-town (and often, out-of-US) guests, I hit up MBT! Great selection of classic Boston/New England items and super fast shipping. (Notably, I'm also in MA.) My go-to's include the taffy, lobster pops, and Boston harbor tea. They make for a lovely Welcome Bag for conference (and wedding!) attendees. Throw in some Cape Cod chips and some Sweet Sloops and you've got the North Shore and South Shore covered! Thanks!
A friend brought a box of this taffy back from Boston. I was not super impressed. Although there appeared to be a variety, every piece tasted the same and after looking at the ingredients, the only differences were the food coloring that was added. It’s not the taffy I remember from the candy shops at Cape Cod.
The taffy boxes were really cute and very Boston! The exceptional customer assistance during the ordering and delivery process really made a difference. Would definitely order from Mass Bay Trading Co again!
I absolutely love the salt water taffy & try to buy some when visiting my family in Boston.
There is a lady friend at church who also loves it so I buy her a box. She's so funny as she doesn't share it with anyone, not even her family !
My husband said it was delicious taffy. So soft and chewy. He's had taffy from other places but stated this was the best! Planning on ordering more for Father's Day gifts.
This is a gift for colleagues overseas, so we have not tried the actual taffy. However, the shipment arrived ahead of schedule and everything looks to be in good order.
