Lighthouse Charm and Bracelet

The beautiful adjustable bracelet is decorated with a hand etched lighthouse charm.  The lighthouse is Ned's Point located in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts.

The bracelet's adjustable wire band fits all sizes.  The silver bracelet is steel with rhodium plating.  They are e-coated to help prevent tarnishing.

All parts are made in the USA.

The eco-ivory (faux scrimshaw) charm is 13 mm x 18 mm.  The artwork was originally hand etched by Linda Layden. Linda has been making beautiful works of art in the scrimshaw field for over 40 years.  Her work can be found in gift shops, galleries, and museums around the world. 

A mold is made of the original piece and open cast pours are made with a resin mixture.  The pieces are removed from the mold, sanded and inked.

The maker of this product believes that serving nature is one of the commissions that we as humans have been given here on earth.  We wish to lend our resources to those charged with protecting elephants from poaching for their ivory. On a monthly basis they donate to organizations whose purpose is to protect the elephants and other species throughout the planet.  The donations are to organizations that put the money to good use and have a low overhead, with the majority of incoming funds going back to saving the elephants!
