Cape Cod bridges holiday ornament. Shows the Sagamore and Bourne bridges from the mainland of Massachusetts across the Cape Cod canal over to the Cape, familiar to vacationers everywhere. The ornament comes in a padded box with locking lid.

Hand-painted glass ornament from Paul March. Size 3" diameter. Each ornament is painted by a skilled artist using special narrow brushes and pointed sticks. The painting is begun by the artist inserting a brush into the globe and carefully creating an outline of the image. The artist then begins the more difficult step of slowly filling in the colors. The entire hand-painted process requires several days and results in a beautiful and unique collectible. The painting technique is known as reverse glass painting, a fine art form found throughout Asia. Each ornament possesses its own unique hand-crafted character.
