Kevin Krueger: SupahFans

Kevin Krueger established SupahFans in 2004 as a New England sports-oriented business that not only celebrates Boston's rich sports history, but also New England's heritage. SuprahFans produces uniquely-Massachusetts t-shirts and hats.

When the US Army moved Kevin's father and family to Natick, he immediately fell in love with the diverse landscapes of Massachusetts and nearby beaches, lakes, mountains, complete with Boston as its cultural and social center.

"The people of Massachusetts have a unique character," says Kevin. He moved to Medfield, Massachusetts, in 2004 after coaching high school baseball there and falling in love with the quiet small New England town. Prior to founding SupahFans, Kevin graduated from Boston College, spent 6 years in financial services and finished his MBA at Babson College.

Kevin's MassPride brand apparel features the rustic townline signs from the back roads of our Massachusetts towns. Kevin visits each town, from Northampton to Provincetown to Rockport, in order to get the precise look of each sign, and to include the local flavor of each town's community and lifestyle.

In October, 2005, Loren & Wally, the affable DJs of Boston radio station WROR, met with Kevin and asked him to design and Opening Day t-shirt poking fun at Johnny Damon. They had Kevin join them on air that morning and distributed his shirts to Red Sox fans outside of Fenway Park as part of their promotion.
